What to expect from your body, birthplace and partner at "Learning 2 Birth".
I have expanded my six week Bradley childbirth class in Central Oregon, to include information and resources from Lamaze, and Briobirth, as well as my certification with CAPPA, (Childbirth and Postpartum Assoc.) I am essentially teaching the way I have taught here in Bend for the past 12 years with the timeless Bradley style, but am finding that the new materials and resources from other childbirth education organizations are enriching to my classes. With your best birth as my goal, you and your partner will learn how to break the cycle of fear/pain/tension with education, information and support. New videos, an extensive lending library and colorful workbooks enrich the curriculum of this consumer approach to childbirth. Topics Include: Nutrition in Pregnancy Prenatal Exercises Comfort and Support for Birth Prenatal Testing Hospital Policies and Procedures Medication for Childbirth Hormones in Birth Birth Plans Breastfeeding Postpartum Education New Parent Resources
Whether you are planning natural or medicated birth, you and your partner owe it to your baby to prepare for birth. Not knowing your options is the same as not having options!
